HAHAHAHA!!!!! YES!!!!! I have a few cousins that will love this!!!!

Who knows what the implications will really be...but like they say, it's definitely a good step in the right direction

Off to protest,

damn, now I can't go around the neighborhood and yell out INS INS, immigracion, and see everybody just run. it wont have the same effect. damn.

La Migra! I remember back in high school we would yell that out the window on the way to school every morning. They would scatter like roaches when the kitchen light is turned on. It was mean and I don't think it's all that funny now, but it sure was then.

seriously though, what do you guys think about this? i think it's a great idea, as i'm not a US citizen (even though i've lived here my entire life) and i've refrained from applying for citizenship b/c it takes freakin forever. hopefully this division will make it easier for upstanding permanent residents to obtain US citizenship.

Sort of a tough call.

While I do think that two smaller units can be more streamlined and concentrate on certain tasks better, I just look to the CIA and FBI and how those two have little to no communication between the two groups.

I think the proper thing here is communication between departments/groups and making sure that you are not letting important things like globably known terrorists on an international watch list in your country not once, but twice.

It could be a very good thing if implemented and controlled properly. Otherwise it will be just as innefective as before.

Good, but during the change over process its gonna get all mucked up with the files their currently working with and stuff....but thats the usual ins for u so

<< finally! Let's hope they get something done correctly. >>

You talking about the US government? I can't remember the last time they did something right.
