I was reading on Reuters today that Pootie Tang debuted at #12 pulling in a "pitiful" 1.6 million dollars. Chris Rock must be kicking his his own a$$ for that one. For comparison, A.I. did $30 million.

Besides, who watches a stupid a$$ movie like that anyway? :Q

Well, how long can you really listen to Chris Rock's voice before it becomes totally irritating?

Chris Rock's voice doesn't bother me. He's actually one of my 5 favorite comics:

George Carlin
Dennis Miller
Chris Rock
Jerry Seinfeld
Eddie Murphy

Anyway, Chris Rock's HBO stand up comedy specials are golden ;) "I'd NEVER slap a woman, but I shake the HELL out of her!" :D

I'm guessing that a "limited" release means only release in major urban areas where there is actually a market audience. Hell, I haven't seen a commercial for it here in Iowa.

The movie is only 1 hour and 12 minutes long. Me and a friend were going to check it out, just because the commercial where he is using his belt like nunchucks cracked us up, until we saw how short it was. If you're going to make a movie, it better be at least and hour and a half.
