Give the Celtics all the credit in the world for that comeback, but the NBA has by far the worst officiating of any of the 4 major sports. You put a team on the line 23 times in a quarter and they can make up any deficit. The NBA needs to review the officiating in the offseason, from blown calls at the end of the game (Baron,Reggie) to completely inconsistent calls to way way too many foul calls, the officiating has set a new low in this playoffs.

Yes I agree with you 100%.What is a foul to one player isn't to another and what they call in the 1st quarter they don't call in the 4th.

Yes, Bostonians are still congragated out on causeway street outside the Fleet Center, yelling, screaming, cheering and dancing in the streets, that 4th quarter was truly amazing !!

Almost all of those fouls were absolute fouls! But its common knowledge, especially in the playoffs, that the aggressor is going to get more of the calls. The nets can only blame themselves for tossing this one away - they all of a sudden settled for outside shots, and Kidd has his head WAY UP and lost his aggressiveness. I can't even remember him driving to the basket once in the 4th.

Out of all of the points Boston got in the 4th, I think they TOOK one 3 point shot (Delk)...that's amazing and shows good judgement and composure, especially from a team that always settles for 3's. If the Nets had been more aggressive then the refs would have given them more foul calls, or they wouldn't have given Boston as many...but you can only blame the Nets (and especially Kidd) for letting them get stomped like that.

There was another game earlier in the playoffs (indiana?) where Kidd lost his aggressiveness in the 4th and deferred to his teammates too much and as a result the Nets lost, and the next game he pretty much took over in the 4th and they won. I don't know how many reminders he needs, but you can expect him to do the same on Monday. :) (but they will still lose :D)

Yeah the Celts lost. Pierce and Walker stunk up the joint the joint the last few games.

Funny before the Celtics came storming back in the 4th you were all over this thread, but then you disapeared as soon as the Celtics came back to win, then reappear after the Nets win the series.
