Hey all,

I'm sure we have all heard about the recent ruling on the napster case. Well, I was just watching Headline News, and they basically told us not to worry, there are still some Napster alternatives. Then they PUT UP A LIST OF THEM. Haha. Among them was Napigator! Boom. So now, anyone who uses Napster is going to find out that Napster is NOT dead, and really can't be killed by this ruling. Oh well. I really wouldn't have expected them to instruct the Napstering public how to bypass the Napster servers.

[Double Trouble]

There are (and always will be) plenty of alternatives to Napster, file sharing technology will not die, it will not go away, it will become more popular.

The only thing that Napster had going for it that set it apart was the ease of use and the critical mass -- with over 50 million subscribers, you were bound to find just about anything you looked for.... Now all the other options don't have that critical mass yet, and until they become as easy to use as Napster so the average AOL dolt can figure it out, they won't have the critical mass either.
