I went through the eHarmony site, the profile took like 1/2 for God's sake. Its conclusion?

"At this time, we are not able to identify a match for you. We require that any match we provide be highly compatible with your values, beliefs and attitudes. This standard means that thousands of eHarmony users are often not matched right away."

Translate through soxfish:

"At this time, and in the distant future we are not able to identify a single, living and breathing human female for you. We require any match we provide be highly compatible with your perversions, thoughts and shizzle. This standard means that most users are given at least some trailer park ho to fondle, but you're uniquely unqualified for life. Please visit vivid.com for all your future companionship needs. :p

Oddly enough I do very well with women, have a current girlfriend but have always longed for the one that "gets me."

Funnay! :D

So your current gf is just a placeholder while you look for a better one? Sucks to be her.

Ok, I changed my geographic profile to search the entire United States. Can't wait, it's taking *forever* to search!

Nah, we're great friends and more, we've both found ourselves stuck. We love each other but sometimes ya gotta walk away. :D

Maybe you should try wearing socks. Bearfoot men are not in demand these days.

Not really, you're drawing conclusions from insufficient data. Our lives aren't simple ones and an explanation would violate the context of this thread. Put it aside for now.

BTW, the damn search requires cookies.

Do you know how many times I went through the search process before I enabled that site to add cookies?

EDIT: I just realized. eHarmony.com never asks what sex you are interested in.

Does it automatically figure out what sex it should be?

Do they automatically assume the opposite sex?

I do not terribly care, I was just curious about questionaire everyone was complaining about..... But I smell a lawsuit waiting to happen. :D

The more I think about it the more it seems suspicous, I think a few of you were onto something. My best guess without research is that they cater to the hetrosexual bible thumping crowd, and try to be inconspicuous about it.

Hmm...

ditto. I can get on like a house on fire with them. Become real good friends, share stuff they've never told anyone. I begin to like them, they begin to see me even more as the Brother / Friend person.

If I ever find the person who invented the 'friendzone' they are going to die a slow, bloddy death.

Ok, it found a bunch of matches. The "day care teacher and a detox counselor" seems like the ideal match. HA! :p
