Haha! Some guy left his Hello Kitty keychain at Best Buy!

I was hanging around Best Buy today looking at the music section, when I spotted a guy walking out of the store with a big Hello Kitty sweatshirt on. I laughed to myself, thinking "What a weirdo," when I noticed the people at the customer service counter laughing hysterically.

I went over there to investigate, and the guys at the counter were holding a Hello Kitty keychain and were talking (in between laugh attacks) about the 'eccentric' guy who had left it there. I asked if he was wearing a Hello Kitty sweatshirt, and they nodded. I said I just saw him walk out the door and they handed me the keys so that I could run after him.

When I got to the parking lot, I saw it. A HUGE Hello Kitty conversion van, and the guy was standing in front of it talking on his cell phone (calling for a spare set of keys, I assume)! I was laughing too hard to walk, so I just dropped the keys and walked back into the store.

What a weird day.

there's been anime/cartoon of hello kitty, there is also a live action sanrio show that's still airing with mini skits and musical performances in front of audiences of kids and their parents. lol, people in hello kitty and other sanrio character suits = win. but hello kitty was first introduced in 1974 as a character to put on merchandise, sanrio bought/acquired rights to hello kitty in 1977 and the rest is history i guess.
