Check out what Sheehan says about Hillary stright out of Limbaughs playbook

"With her position as a senator," Ms. Sheehan said, "she's become more: `Let's see which way the wind blows, and what's going to get me re-elected or elected, or how am I going to benefit from this' instead of truly voting from her integrity."

http://fairuse.1accesshost.com/news2/nyt028.html

Personally I think she still has to wake up. Almost all senators are bought and sold by power elite who wanted this war. Hence, the best the democrats can do to criticise the implementation rather than oppose and now call for immediate end to hostilites and withdraw. In fact they call for more troops, more money any chance they get to point out the 'errors' of our way. How any peace loving person in good consious could vote for these clowns is amazing. If hillary gets elected in 08 I'm moving to swizterland.

400 years of no war is actually extremely impressive, I did not know that it had been that long

I saw this the other day. I don't know what Sheehan is trying to do by doing this. If she goes around flaming the Dems, they will work to marginalize her like the Reps are doing and she will be left with no one but a few nutcases following her.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds.

instead of fighting or standing up for any thing decent, the swiss just banked all the Nazi stolen gold that was ripped out of the bodies of Jews. They should have been tried for war crimes.

Something really to be proud of.

Well, at least she's honest, which, come to think of it, is the true underlying reason why the people who get so bent out of shape trying to smear her are afraid of her. And the worst part of it is, they can't ever even admit this to themselves.

Their house of cards, thier pat little black and white, dittohead world view would collapse and they'd be left with nothing. Nothing.

Cindy Sheehan is just an ordinary, non-slick American mother whose loss of her son has left her with nothing to lose. This makes her dangerous. Just look at the lying rats run! :li

LOL. If she were "honest", she'd admit she's a Bush-hater and an Anti-Semite, and then shut the heck up.

If you were "honest", the list of things you'd have to admit to yourself would fill a phone book. It would break you. It would certainly shut you up.

You spend so much time here obsessively slamming Cindy Sheehan because her naked, unvarnished, unspinned and unscripted honesty scares the living ****** out of you.

She's an oridinary American mother who lost her son to pack of lies. She has nothing left to lose, and has finally woken up to the fact that your beloved boy Emperor has no clothes.

So she says it, "The Emperor has no clothes." Down deep even you know that this is true, hence your near hysterical hate campaign.

Aren't you one of those that was going to move to Canada if Bush got elected? Maybe not. I'm pretty sure that Steep was. He moved to New Jersey!

Are you clueless? Sheehan isn't "extraordinary". How many other Moms have lost a son or daughter? Do you see them parroting around as pawns of MoveOn.org, Code Pink, et al. ?

She is a pack of lies.

Heh. Emperor? You need to find the right country ... this one isn't for you.

Little bits of respect I had for Sheehan has been torn apart by her latest comments about one of my favorite politicians. I am looking and hoping that Hillary will come through and defeat all these Republicans and finally bring some sort of balance to this country, and here is Sheehan telling her fellow radical leftists to not vote for her. I would much rather see Hillary in office than any of the current politicians who may or may not run. She has every bit of experience they have, if not more. She has gone through all the tough times at the White House, something that any of potential candidates have not come close to, with the exception of President Gore and VP Lieberman.

I never vote but if she ran, I would vote for her. Not only is she a great politician who knows how to respond to adversity, she has one of the best political minds ever as her husband. She would make a great president, although I'm not too sure if I can trust her foreign policy!

The world some people live in has to have a yellow sky. Sheehans antics were unscripted?

lmao if you believe that, PM me, I have beach Ocean front property in Colorado I need to sell you.

Edit: btw I find it hilarious the media barely mentioning her attack on Clinton. I heard about this a few weeks ago as she wanted Hillary to answer up to her views on the war and yet no headlines on CNN lmao.

LOL, if Cindy Sheehan is scripted she needs to fire that bozo immediately. Your inability to believe she isn't says volumes about the lockstep, all on the same page, talking points world you must inhabit.

Send me the deed for that Colorado property. I'll pay your price. Just don't try to spend those bills 'till the ink dries, k?

Lastly, Gen, I also actively support the Wounded Warrior project.

What ever happened to the mass exodus of libbies when Bush was re-elected.

No a single one put there foot down.

Shows what credability they have.

Well, I'm not going anywhere.

But, really, what's this "mass exodus of libbies" BS, anyway? One, maybe two of the more intemperate said something like that. You call that a "mass exodus of libbies"? Either you can't count, or your credibility can also be questioned.

And please, don't try to tie the rest of us to them. How would you like your future credibility here to be tied to the substantive serial wisdom of, say, Pabster? :disgust:

Sounds like figments of thier immagination I don't remember anyone here saying they are going to leave USA if Bush gets elected. Stands to reason the would imagine such a thing since they have this "love it or leave it" mindset and superimposed that belief on what was otherwise disaffected liberals after the election. They imagine lots of things though. you know "liberal media" out to get them. Hollywood is out to get them. Your basic persecution complex.

More a comment of thier over 400 years of no war.. but I'm sure that went right over your head?

It's 490 years of neutrality but some internal conflicts happened after the year 1515.

Something really to be proud of.

The Swiss stood up for their neutrality and humanity during WWII. Despite the fact that their military equipment was somewhat old they signalised the Axis right after the invasion of Poland that they won't tolerate any violation of their territory. Half a dozen planes from the Reich airforce were taken down in provocated air combat over Swiss territory and Switzerland lost two or three planes and one pilot, too. A German sabotage attempt against the Swiss train system further raised concerns about invasion plans. A 6 million nation mobilised 430 000 military and 200 000 auxiliary troops while the occupation of France completed the isolation of Switzerland. After the invasion of France Switzerland partly demobilised but it remained depenent on the ressources of its neighbors.

Although Switzerland was neutral it was clear on which side the sympathies were and who was percieved as enemy. When in 1940 a group of 12 000 polish soldiers asked for internment (they had fought in France) Nazi Germany documents described that the people recieved them kindly. Switzerland was shelter to refugees and foreign army personel, American pilots among them. (In 1944 more than 100 B-17s and B-24 landed here.)

1945 the US Airforce several times accidentially bombed Switzerland and killed a bit over sixty persons, the biggest incident being the bombing of Schaffhausen.

Switzerland was one of the logistic centres of the Red Cross during WWII and it a diplomatic hub to some extent. The tradition of neutrality and the sheer military imbalance made any other military strategy than resistance on own soil impossible. Sorry but you have no idea how the WWII years were for the average Swiss citizen and you've a biased view of the Switzerland-Axis relationship.
