Reformatting the g/f's computer. I have it set to boot from cd first, so after the initial copying of files and rebooting, I pulled the cd out so it'd boot from the hard drive. It's now asking for the cd again (of course) and I actually read the entire dialogue box this time:
"Please insert the Compact Disc labeled 'Windows XP Professional CD-ROM' into your CD-ROM drive (D
and then click OK.
You can also click OK if you want files to be copied from an alternate location, such as a floppy disk."

Okay, so it's not that funny, but I found it slightly amusing.
