*With SEASONALE®, while you get the convenience of having only 4 periods a year, you are also more likely to have spotting and breakthrough bleeding (which varies from slight spotting to a flow much like a regular period) than with a 28-day pill. This is common and should decrease over time.

this looks like a really great pill, and i think it would be worth it. spotting is different in all females, so it could be very rare for her!
I think she would like having less periods too! suggest it definatly!
The convenience of fewer planned menses (4 per year instead of 13 per year) should be weighed against the inconvenience of increased intermenstrual bleeding and/or spotting.

I saw some commercial last night, Seasonale..... or something
Cuts them down to 4 periods a year, which i also assume, means only 4 PMS's a year....
Wrong of me or not to suggest the switch to another form of the pill?![]()

Your logic is a bit flawed. Realize that birth control == hormones, and changing birth control types can lead to an emotional rollercoaster, regardless of how infrequently periods occur.

I wouldn't. I need those 12 periods per year to keep my sanity.
