What does that mean.. selling used games as new.

I worked there years ago .... are these just games people return and then they put back out?

Don't all companies do such things?

Id hit up the coupon if I was eligable. I dont see how they can prove Gamestop sold "used" games, as new.

They probably do, but they mark is as USED as opposed to selling it new.

The prices were always lower at EB!

EB does it too.

You buy a game, dont like it, then return it they just reshrinkwrap it and put it back out.

I don't think thats what they mean. I think its when they buy back the game from users. Like you either trade-in a game or sell it to them at really low prices and then they reprice it higher and sell it as used. But in this case they didn't mark it as "used" but rather they repackaged it as new.

actually it happened to me a couple of months ago. bought a game I thought was new but turned out it was used. It wouldn't even play so I took it back for a refund.
