I got my Antec Sonata today, and I opened the box, removed the styrofoam, removed the plastic covering, unscrewed the side panel, and found inside the case the user's manual. Inside the manual it has instructions for setup and the extent of the instructions is what I already mentioned. How can they give you directions on how to unpack the case and open the side panel if the manual is INSIDE the case?

Seriously, my chieftec offered to sell me assembly instructions for $3.00, but the case came fully assembled. All I had to do was attach the rails to the drives and slide them in...go figure

I've also seen ReadMe files with directions that start "To view <Document Title> open <Word, Notepad, etc> and select "ReadMe.txt" That's a good idea! Thanks for the instructions! LOL

And yeah, who needs directions anyhow

That's for noobs... for example, if I were to read a readme for Linux, I would need something like that. =D

So, uhh, you're trying to say that it was about as helpful as the Windows Helpfile? Like when you find something that makes as much sense as "Knarfle the Garthok" so you drag that stupid question mark over and a box pops up saying "Allows you to Knarfle the Garthok"? Sometimes I think that the world is a dimmer place because of computers....

Reminds me of the time I tore down a washing machine. 4 steps into it is where you get a the part of the machine that tells you how to take it apart. What a PITA.
