I have a feeling there are some web designers out of jobs, lately. The new BB site sucked big-time.

Their first version wasn't that bad, why break something which works?

Exactly. The search function on the new one was awful. Such a pain to get it to actually work.

Easy one to answer. It is Best Buy.

I really loathe/despise/hate BB with a passion.

Lately I try to see if Walmart, Target, K-Mart, CostCo, Circuit City, Sears, even 7 Eleven has something in stock before I buy it from BB.

Yeah, they're really not such a "Good Buy" anymore on most things. I only go there for something when it's very cheap, and I know that they're not making a big mark-up.

I did recently go in and cost BB a couple of dollars in credit card fees though. I bought a window air conditioner with my CC, and then thought, "well, that was an OK price, but I'd better go to Sears and check it out." I'm glad I did, because I found a $160 Kenmore out of the box, but in perfect condition complete with the unopened bag of parts and accessories for $96! Talk about a score! (You can find new ACs in box for $96, but not with a 10.8 EER!) I still had the boxed AC from BB on my front seat, so I returned it to BB, about 30 minutes after I originally bought it, to make room for the other one from Sears.

Can't say I've had any experiences with Best Buy that has made me hate the ones I go to. If anything, their every so often 24 month 0% interest financing plans helped me get a big screen tv. Paid it off in about a year with no interest tacked on. Real easy.

i don't understand why the have to take down the website while they are changing it. Wouldn't they just leave their old one up until they are done making the new changes and then transfer everything over?

Seems like they are going to lose a lot of business this way

I think Best Buy is responsible for NetFlix's recent "purple passion" makeover :|
