Hah, My ISP rocks (NJ)!

I emailed the Patriot Media Customer service department about 3 weeks ago about comcast offering 3.0 Mbps a sec download speed in the NJ area. I asked them if they were willing to compete with Comcast.

Low and behold, I started downloading a 40 MB file today and boom! My old 1.5 Mbp cap is now 3.0 Mbp. Patriot media has upgraded their service to all NJ residential households to 3.0 mpbs.

Time Warner Road Runner service did the same thing in my area and I love it. However, I am sure they will coincidentally initiate a rate hike in the near future supposedly unrelated. *sigh*
