No, my whole install of W@K died, I something about ntko something or another being corrupt. It's showing in the d2ol TA stats page that I have 2 node when I really only have 1

the node will stay on their page forever
i installed some nodes on some test pc's at work several months ago, they are still listed as nodes, even though those pc's haven't sent any work or even run the program in months
AFAIK, they haven't added a way to remove nodes yet, you can only add new ones

if you didn't save any files from before your OS crashed, i doubt you can get the same node number back
i am going through the files now looking for the one that contains the node number, but if you don't have the files, that won't help much

sorry :(

other than making the team look like it has more nodes...there really is no harm in adding your reinstall as a new node. The candidates still get credited to you and and the TeAm...so don't sweat it. :)

The file you want ( node.prp) is in SengentD2OL\D2OL\Res\ and it`s encrypted in some way , I don`t know why. Also, try and keep a copy of stats.prp in case you ever want to reinstall.

so if you keep a backup copy of those two files, you can drop them into a new install and keep your node #/stats? cool

sean2002, I can send you a node.prp and stats.prp if you don't want to create another new node! :D

Just try and keep a recent copy of the stats.prp. It is the one that changes most often. Node.prp should only be created once.
I have reinstalled D²OL quite a few times and this has always worked for me if this is any help.
