Pets are definitly family. I got my yorkshire terrier back home, he wouldn't be too happy at college. He's not very bright but no matter what's happened that day he's happy to see you. He'll sit in your lap and just be happy to have you there. Sigh, I miss the little fur ball.
I had to put down my only dog last year. She was really sick, couldn't eat, couldn't stand. She kept puking what she ate. She was a great Akita Chow mix, cream color with a pink nose! 🙁
I had to put my first dog down a few years ago. She was the sweetest, most gentle and loving dog I've ever known. Unfortunately she developed a cystic growth in her snout and it blocked her airways and covered her teeth. I miss her. 🙁
I'm very sorry for your loss Paige. My parents had to have my cat put down a few years back as she had a kidney disorder. She was in a lot of pain at the end, so putting her down was the best thing. Remember, even though you are sad, you did the best thing for her.
