I'm sure you're thinking, WTF I do that all the time. But actually I've never had to in the past.

Should probably be on the do not call list but to be honest we don't get enough telemarketing calls for it to be very annoying usually. And the ones that we do get are usually relatively easy to deal with with a quit stern "No not interested", "Sorry no time". The trick is to intrupt them right away and make it clear they aren't going to get anywhere.

Not this guy though. Wasn't even calling to look for me but once I picked the phone up, fuck.

"What cell phone plan are with now"

"I'm not interested in switching, don't have time for this"

"Can I interest you in switching"

"No, not going to"

"What are you paying right now?"

"I said I'm not interested"

"I understand but what are you paying right now"

That's when you have a little fun with them. Can be rather amusing. They get in trouble if on the phone too long without a sale.

Someone else who answered the phone once stuck me with a telemarketer at 8am in the morning on a weekend. I was too nice to hang up...

I'm sorry, I'm fairly certain I'm smarter than a guy in his mid 20s who isn't self sufficient enough to move out of his parents house, or take care of himself on his own, or make basic decisions.

To answer your question, yes, I'm slightly off my game, I've had salmonella poisoning for about 3 weeks now.

For the record, please, just shut the f*ck up and do something with your life. We aren't your wife, girlfriend (god forbid you ever have one), best friend (if you have one other than your computer or right hand), just go get a fucking life for Christ's sake.

No I've met you in person, you are not at all smart. You are confusing social and emotional skills (which I agree I lack) with intelligence.

Depending on my mood and if I am doing anything determines how I deal with them.

If I have time to burn I'll string them along for a long time, even have them repeat the crap like 4 times till you can hear they are starting to get frustrated a tad 😀 then I'll end it. How I end it isn't the same each time, sometimes after they get done explaining AGAIN I'll go oh, so it does this (repeat what they just said) and they are like yup exactly, I then tell them I don't need/want/like that and tell them bye. Sometimes I'll just cut them off and go, hey I have to go, my cat just caught on fire while, I'll usually tell them sometime earlier I am roasting marshmallows on the stove top to give it a bit more lol 😀

If it is a women, I'll ask her what she's wearing and to describe herself to me. They usually hang right up, sometimes with a colorful comment, other times without a word 🙂

If I'm in a bad mood, I'll just hang up or say something not so nice.

Hahahahahaha, okay L0cutus, I just went to one of the top high school in the province (top 10 in the country) and got scholarship offers from multiple Canadian Universities (with a learning disability none the less). That being said, I don't need to validate myself to someone like you. Hahahaha.
