He/She for the past several months has, every month or so, put our mail in our neighbor's box and vice versa. Today we received mail from the neighbor on both sides of us. So, I called the post office and they said they'd take care of it. I hope that the person responsible for deliverying doesn't start throwing our mail in the trash to punish us!

This just means they'll tear off the wrapper off your Playgirls and Nude Gay Boyz and put them in your neighbor's box now.

I had a similar but different ( ;) ) problem with our USPS carrier.

I opted not to complain because of fear of mailman reprisals.

Damn their monopoly!

Well, the guy next door obviously uses NetFlix and we have his latest movie here on our kitchen counter! If we were not such good, honest people, we would simply watch it and send it back! :p

I hope you're happy now. Your carrier is now out shopping for automatic weapons in preparation for going postal.

I remember hearing years ago (from my mother, who was friends with the then-postmaster) that the local postal processing center in Minneapolis had a firing range in the basement. Seriously!

EDIT: I guess I was not crazy - here is an article about a bid protest involving construction of a firing range at a postal center in Chicago. I gather these are used primarily for postal inspectors, who are considered law enforcement officers, but it's nice to think that your garden-variety postmen have a chance to practice aiming for center-of-mass.

by "send it back" you mean "keep it", right? you're so good you can't even pretend to be evil properly!

Hah that's what I was thinking ;) I'll just rip it open and use their return to sender pouch. They got the address next door, but the wrong name. Hmm.
