Had some fun at a Radio Conference Event yesterday....

So my company was sponsoring a Radio Academy event in London yesterday about Talk Shows.....some reasonable names in Radio were there including Edwina Currie.....so me and the MD went along...

Anyway, Edwina was telling us about a phone in about the Omar Bombing and James Whale from Talkspot was huffing, interrupting and sniggering (very appropriate given the topic.....plus he was a bit drunk....) when this guy in the audience stood up and said "You are a rude F***, just shut the F*** up and listen to whats being said you prat" Whale retorted with "Who the F*** are you?" and the guy said "I'm a talkshow presenter" "oh yeah for what station?" "Isle of Wight Radio" "pah....isle of wight....should be turned into a big prison complex....send all the convicts" "I Know you're trying to be funny....but you're not...." the guy then got up and started to leave, people applauded....he left saying "I didn't wanna come anyway!" while the IOW Radio guy calmly walked up and took his place and made a good contribution....another talksport guy got up and left at that time also....he was a bit of a buffoon also.

I thought it was a great time.....Edwina then appeared every five minutes near us all the way to London Victoria......

Broadcast Bionics

We supply software and hardware mainly catering for Call Handling and Digital playout stuff, also end up doing IT and supply all kinds of Broadcasting hardware.

We have our own programme called PhoneBOX which is a call handling program....that's our main product.

Heh, we just have an old Getner at work. We never have to manage more than two calls at once. 😀
