As of late BMW cars are not that reliable. I was even told inside of BMW sales floor by BMW agent that I was better off getting a mustang.
They do seem popular, I have no clue as I've never owned one.

Worked with a guy a couple years ago had one and it locked up so bad engine wise he sold it outright and bought a 350Z though.

Was a young guy at the place that was programming the CNC stuff a lot.

I do too myself a bit but I'm not there anyways I guess these days.

I just do not trust the things myself, as in the early 80 I inherited a Audi Fox that was a complete mess and wasn't worth even trying to drive then.
 
S3. AWD, 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, for ~$41k.

No manual transmission offered. AWD is nice. Would you take one over a M235i at a similar price (I think the 235 is about 2-3k more).

Used N54 based 135i is where my money would go if I were going with z Germans.
