I'm attending a conference in Boston and one of the vendors had a "graphologist" at their booth to attract potential customers. You had to write out a sentence (which was given to you) and sign your name twice, and she would tell you about yourself from your handwriting.
I didn't know what to expect and thought it would be like fortune tellers who pick up on clues from your appearance and things you say, then spin it back to you while making it seem as though they pulled it out of thin air. It wasn't like that at all.
All I said to her was "Hi, nice to meet you." Handed her my handwriting sample and she went right to it, telling me about the type of personality I had. She talked for about three minutes non-stop and everything she said was dead on. I was sitting there with my mouth hanging open in amazement. Since there was a long line of people waiting, you only got a couple minutes so I didn't get to ask what exactly about my handwriting led her to those conclusions.
There was no chance it was a trick, and I don't believe your handwriting actually reflects your personality, so I have to figure out how to explain what happened. I'm still kind of spooked. If I ever get another chance, it would be interesting to do it again with a different person just to see if the comments match.
