Hacker ruins my credit card,who else?

Yep its true.The hacker that penitrated Onsales security on Dec 26,2000 and stole over 3 million dollars got my card for 10.Since this has happened my cc issuer has frozen my card for good and said that a new one will be on its way,but not real soon mabe a month or longer.Anyway just wanted to know how many others here got ripped off?The charge on my card had something to do with a phone call to Moscow by the hacker.

I wasn't ripped off on that deal, but I have been before. Some sleazbag at one of my utility companies stole one of my checks I wrote for a bill and made his own checks with my name, address, checking acct. and bank on there. He went to a mall right around here a few days before christmas and just had a ball...almost $10,000.

Luckily my bank is insured so they just gave me my money back and gave me a new checking acct. They actually found the guy a couple of months later, caught him at the teller window cashing a check out of my acct, got his picture, license plate, everything. Scumbag. :|
