Hack cable box?

So I recently got comcast digital cable again... which I haven't had for... 4 years? To discover ads on my tv guide! Anyone know of any way to hack around those without comcast knowing?

between this and metros new plan to cover trains in ads, i might just need to go stick my head under a rock for a few years till the apocalypse.

Seriously, this is why I dont have cable. They charge more and more each year. Offer less and less. And now they want to put in digital ads? I dont think so.

Make a stand now. Tell them you are going to dump their service because of it. Then tell them you are going to a competitor. Sattelite is always a good threat because you can get it anywhere. If they lose enough customers they shall reconsider their actions.
