Does a motherboard play a big role in the performance of a game? I'm ready to buy a gaming PC but I'm a real noob when it comes to this computer stuff. I'm customizing my rig on cyberpowerpc and still choosing what mobo I should get. I'm currently on the Asus P8H67-M LE Intel H67. Here are my choices:

-Biostar H61MH Intel H61 [$-33]
-MSI H61M-P23 Intel H61 [$-33]
-Asus P8H67-M LE Intel H67 [$0]
-[CrossFireX] Asus P8P67-M Intel P67 [$+24]

I'm trying not to exceed the $1000 mark and I'm currently at $955. If you're curious of my specs, here they are:

well it wont make a difference unless you need sata 3 (for certain SSDs) or more than 2 dimm slots. which it looks like you dont.

H61 won't get you quicksync, while H67 will. Ignore the extra fan upgrade, and get the 2500K CPU with the P67 motherboard. 650 watts is more PSU than you need.

Cyberpower is great, but with what you're paying, it's more like 600 if you build it yourself. Don't spend a grand on that system; that's what we're here for!!!
