H20 Cooling Maintenance

Just wondering what most of your h20 cooling folks out there do for maintenance on your system. How often you change water, flush system, clean things, etc.

Cheers!

With most standard coolant mixes you should flush every 6-months. You can stretch it further depending on additives and the state of your coolant. As far as cleaning things like blocks, that also depends on additives and what sort of blocks you're using to a lesser degree. For instance, jet impingement blocks require regular cleaning from what I understand.

Keith! Nice to see you back! Haven't seen you post in a while 🙂

Anyway I think the standard is once every six months (maybe once every two months if you have aluminum + copper in your loop), and a full cleaning of parts once a year or so.
