H110i GT install?

Hello, how are you?
I have an H110i GT arriving tomorrow.
I have a question.
I wouldn't want to connect the USB header to the pump in order to minimize the cable clutter on the socket.
Is it possible to run the h110 without the usb and link software without any issue?
How will the pump speed be regulated? Will it always run at full?
Also, I have a lamptron fan controller I would like to use to manually control the radiator fans.
Any issue doing that and not connecting the fans to the fan header on the pump?
Anyone did the same?

Thanks.
Cheers!

1. i believe the header to control speed is also the pwm fan header.
2. Yes it is, you will be dependant on your pwm fan header to dictate how fast the pump spins.
3. Again yes it shouldnt be a problem.
4. via pwm settings in bios.
5. i dont think u can connect the fan header on the pump. The fans should have there own imput.

I agree it's pretty annoying that the usb cable coming off the pump angles toward the top of the case, rather than straight toward the back or down toward the usb headers. It makes cable management rather interesting.
