H110 chipset motherboards with Kaby lake cpu question

While piecing together a build on pcpartspicker.com there is a warning when using the mobo https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...MSI_H110M_ECO_LGA_1151-_-13-130-910-_-Product and the pentium G4560 CPU.

The warning says " Some Intel H110 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions."

Is this an old issue or something I need to worry about?

What chipset would have the least problems?

The z270, h270, b250, q270 will all be guaranteed to support Kaby Lake CPUs out of the box. The z170, h110, h170, b150, q170 will work with Kaby Lake CPUs if the shipping BIOS are a more current version which adds Kaby Lake support, however you aren't guaranteed to get a '1' series board with Kaby Lake support out-of-the-box. So your safest bet is to get one of the '2' series boards where you know it will work with that CPU.

There are a few exceptions where some high-end boards from Asus and other manufacturers offer BIOS updating without a CPU installed, but that feature is not very common and you will be looking at a $200+ board that offers it.
