I have to say this guy puts his money where his mouth is. Pretty much everything is rescinded/repealed except for the tax cuts (surprise!). In case anyone is interest in reading the parts that will be repealed, I have listed the starting page for easier navigation in the PDF:

Division B
.....Title II
..........Subtitle B - page 332
..........Subtitle C - page 336
.....Title III - page 341
.....Title IV - page 353
.....Title V - page 382
.....Title VI - page 398
.....Title VII - page 402

I know there's no chance of this going to a floor vote, but how I wish it would.

If by 'put his money where his mouth is' you mean 'put forward a piece of legislation that he knows will never pass as a political stunt', then yes I agree. It's easy to put forward all sorts of bills such as this when you know you don't need to deal with the consequences of your actions.

Yes, and obama pushed for another $800B in spending that was too backloaded to do the economy much good when it needed it the most.

Some Politicians are more interested in playing Political games than actually dealing with the Issues.

And your point is?... It's not the Dems posturing on principle here. We always knew where they stood on these issues.

Just stop the whole damn thing it is not working. The Pelosi plan failed yet again.

Pelosi is scarcely a two-bit player at this point, broken record.

edit: WTF time warp

While the republicans spent too much money, the democrats are now spending way to much money. But i guess since democrats are not republicans, the extra spending is completely ok now.

Well the bill is going to come due for all the extra spending....so enjoy being taken by the honest crook for twice as much the hypocrite.

It is Obama who is the 2 bit player at this point. Obama has been reduced to being a cheer leader for the far left lead by Pelosi.

I'd side with the person who has principles and values but cannot always hold them up over someone with no principles or values at all.

Hypocrites, by definition, have no principles and values, and only the appearance thereof.

Chin up, folks.
Geithner says "The U.S. will ensure a ?sustainable? deficit by 2013"

So, four years from now the deficit will still be around but it will at least be "sustainable". Thus we need only see the US crank up debt on an unsustainable basis for a mere four years, at which point the increase is sustainable. So, yes you lost your leg, but you'll only hemorrhage for four years, and after that you'll get enough treatment that "most" of the bleeding will stop. Sweet!

By 2013, after the next election cycle. Useless bullshit from Geithner.

We've gone from the stupidity of "deficits don't matter," to "deficits saved the world."

You mean like Deomcrats trying to ram through Universal Health Care??? They don't give a shit what that program will do because they will still have their own healthcare and not be affected by what us peasants have to suffer through.
