This scream is used in a lot of movies/shows actually, there are a couple other "shared" screams just like it. I don't even think this is the most popular one.

One of the shut-down sounds in Windows 2000 (the kids laughing) is one of those sounds. You hear those kids sampled forwards and backwards in almost every "kids playing" commercial.
