I had a WTF moment when I tried to find out what all the fuss is about emo music.

So, I downloaded Dashboard Confessional's Screaming Infidelities.
I reached the part where the dude starts whining about wanting to make out, or imagining her making out.
The dude sounded like he thought he just performed the new "Tears in Heaven"

I laughed. I cried.

Edit: And I have nothing against cheesy, corny lyrics. Bands like blink-182 did them well. So do the 5.6.7.8s. It is the ones who sing cheesy lyrics and pretend they are songwriting geniuses that bother me.
