Gwar band opinions?

I re-discovered this band recently and was just curious what you all thought of them. Their latest video can be seen on www.launch.com and it's called "war party."

They are not that great, but I only listened to the latest album.

 

Pretty meh. Were a fun show to watch in the late-80's. After all the shock-rock crap of the 90's (Manson, etc) Gwar have lost their effect.

When I was younger I thought their costumes were awesome. I haven't listened to them in years nor do I really care to anymore- just not into that anymore. Guess I mellowed out alot.

I like a few of the old tracks. I got dragged to a concert once, more or less (buddy bought a ticket for me, so i figured why not) wasn't really that great because they were playing new music i had never heard, and didn't particularily like

Gwar was the best damn concert I have ever been to. They are awesome. And America Must Be Destroyed is a pretty damn good album.
