Question GW2765HT incompatible with 3080 DP/flickering

Looks like there is a general flickering issue using DP with some Benq 2765HT (and other monitors?) and 3xxx cards:

I have the exact same issue with a Zotac 3080 , luckily it doesn't happen on HDMI and my work DTR is connected via HDMI. Wondering if anyojne else encountered similar issues?

Update: from toms https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/rtx-3080-flickering-on-top-of-screen-using-dp.3650406/page-2 , setting it to a custom res of 59.002 Hz solves the issue. Suspect that the 3xxx series acts a bit weird with certain monitors (looks like mostly older models) when using DP.
