Just wondering because when I first bought mine I went with a signet however I opted to change the design this year to something more classic, they never told me that I could get medium or large and just sent me the medium, when I found out I could have had large I complained and now they say they will give me the large for free however I wonder if the large will be too large? any thoughts appreciated, thanks

Guys who have college rings...

why on earth do you insist on wearing your community college ring for the rest of your life?

Same reason you insist on wearing your DeVry ring - hoping people don't look too closely and just assume it's from a real school.
*rimshot :D

I think the large ones are way too big, but then again I'm at 5'7" 170 lbs, I'm not a big person by any means.

Thanks Jzero for the helpful response, I am a bit bigger at 5'9" 217 but I have short fingers, some days my medium looks kinda small, or smaller than I had wanted, but others I wonder if the large will be too big, but then again it is only 1mm wider and 2 mm longer so it isn't that much bigger, I just think the visual effect makes it seem larger...most of the professionals I see wearing them appear to have the larger style and when I see them wearing those I feel they look better than what I have, but who knows what it would look like when I actually get it. Sucks that I cannot see it in person.

If you are buying your ring from a company that uses small, medium & large as their sizes, find a new ring company.

Having picked up my wedding ring this week, I can tell you that my ring size is 10.5...

Hey mwilding, that isn't for the "finger size" however I am not happy they only offer in half sizes, but rather the physical size of the ring, whereas Small is tiny, generally for a lady, medium is just that a medium sized ring, and large is physically the biggest (they also have XL, XXL and XXXL for superbowl rings and such but those options are not available for college)...currently I have a medium which is fairly large but not overly big the large is 2mm longer and 1mm wider in dimension which isn't alot but looks big when it is on.

I gotcha. I had a signet class ring when I graduated. I have no idea what size it was though...

I guess if you're never going to wear it then sure, but I always wear mine to interviews and what not and many of the other professionals I see also have them..always liked the look.

The only reason I stopped wearing my high school ring every day is because I got a college ring. I feel I got my money's worth :)
