I look for a girl that's good looking (I dont have very high standards when it comes to that), is nice (non-bitchy), outgoing, friendly, intelligent (very important), knowlegable (not ignorant), not very pretentious, non-overly emotional and generally down-to-earth.

No expectations really... aside from 'chemistry'. Sometimes when you meet somebody, within the first 5 mins you know if they're somebody you want to know better. Conversation is easy, not too much nervousness, you're comfortable, and just seem to be on the same wavelength. That's what i look for in a girl.

Of cource, the initial attraction generally comes from good looks. But relationship wise, I like a girl who is self confident (but not to the point of arrogance), can carry an intelligent conversation but also knows how to relax and have a good time. Major differences on viewpoints can be ok (even fun), but not if they carry them to the point of fanaticism. But most of all, I look for understanding.

You pretty much summed up my tastes as well!
I think my standards in terms of "looks" are higher than yours, though. But intelligence is DEFINITELY a prerequisite. Down-to-earth is always important, too.

The first thing to look for is a pulse.
if a pulse is present, make sure you do some tests to verify that it is female.
If everything checks out, this is a personal preference, but I like to make sure that it was born female also.
