it's winter and i've seen a guy wearing a turtleneck and i thought it was pretty ghey. do you think it is? no offense

Nope, turtleneck != ghey. A turtleneck is bar none the best thing to wear underneath everything (but on top of long underwear obviously) when you are going to be outdoors for an extended period of time. Talk about warm.

I live in upstate NY, right near canada, and it gets damn cold here... the big thing this winter is turtlenecks. But, so far I've only seen ribbed ones, I don't think the other kinds have caught on yet... but most of my winter clothing is made up of ribbed turtlenecks and ribbed mock-necks.

Heh, this issue was discussed just yesterday.

I don't think turtlenecks are gay. Here and here are a couple examples of guys who don't look dumb with turtlenecks. The wide ribbed sweater ones are stylish IMO, plus they're warm.

What's up with saying "ghey" anyway? Is gay in the language filters or something??

I wear turtle necks alot.. it's called practicality... that sh!t is warm!

I like not having to wear a big bulky coat so I wear things like Turtle neck shirts in hopes I'll be warm enough.
