lol, reading this thread I have to try out putting the wallet in front pocket. That was uncomfortable when you sit down. BTW, I always wear jeans so wallet in back for me.

You must hang out with some loser emo kids who wear those hideous skin tight pants. As long as you wear pants where each public hair isn't clearly outlined it's impossible to tell that a wallet is in the front pocket.

Plus when you go into a big city a wallet in the back pocket is just asking to get it taken.

Oh please, I've been to NYC, Baltimore, and DC a million times, and there's no reason to put my wallet into my front pocket.

I use a slim slimmy wallet - it forces me to not carry anything I don't need (2 cc's, 1 atm card, drivers licence and some bills). Back or front no matter since it's so skinny and I get lots of comments on it.

It doesn't have to be that tight to see it. I think they are fairly easy to see. Also, getting pick pocketed isn't that big of a concern around here. Besides, I just carry a standard trifold and not one of those checkbook sized wallets. A pickpocket would have to dig pretty deep to get my wallet and I would likely notice that. Plus, if you are wearing khakis/slacks you often have a button on the back pocket if you are that concerned about pick pockets.

I put my wallet in my back right pocket. I've done it since I was about 10 years old... 25 now so I don't feel it there anymore.

I am a minimalist when it comes to these things, so I carry the smallest wallet I could find.

License goes in the window in the front, two credit cards in the rear slots, and couple insurance cards/blockbuster/business cards in the middle sleeve. In case you are wondering, I fold my money in half around the wallet itself. Small, compact, and doesn't deform your trousers.

wallet: front left pocket. ipod / random change: front right pocket. cellphone: jacket pocket.

I took the subway in NYC to get to grammer and high school, so my parents really drilled it into me to keep my wallet in my front pocket to protect it from pick pockets.

all these people complaining about a bulge... wtf are you keeping in your wallet? a 6" stack of 20's? or are you trapped in the 80's with skin-tight stone washed jeans? :p

People over 18 still actually use actual wallets?

I see no need for anything other than a slim fold that holds your cash, DL, CC's and maybe a Costco card or something. I keep mine in my front pocket where it belongs. If you are noticing a bulge on the front of your pants from wearing a wallet, then either your wallet is too big or your pants are too tight (or both).

I wear it out back on the left.
I'd rather have a bulging ass than a lumpy thigh.

When wearing nylon pants with no rear pocket I have to stash everything in my front pockets and it's not a pretty sight.

You know how some wallets have that removable section where you can put your license, credit cards, and things of that nature? I took that out, pack up my most essential cards into it, and carry it in my front pocket. Cash just gets relegated to whatever pocket is handy since I don't really like dealing with it that often anyway.

front pocket, moneyclip attached to thin wallet that holds about 6 cards.

Cellphone in rear right pocket, pda in front left pocket, keys on belt hoop in between front right and rear right pocket

Back right pocket, most of the time. With some of my pants, it's uncomfortable to sit with my wallet in my back pocket. In those cases, I'll take my wallet out of my pocket when I'm at my desk or driving, but keep it in my back pocket when I'm walking around/etc.

Edit: Cell phone & iPod in front right pocket, keys in front left pocket. If I'm wearing jeans, I put my cell phone in the small pocket above my front right pocket.

Use a wallet, back right pocket. Only time my wallet goes in the front is when I'm wearing dress pants.
