I need a woman's opinion and you're the closest thing we have to women on AT.

I need a dress shirt and tie to go with black dress slacks for an interview. People there wear jeans/khakis and polo shirts. No one wears a suit. I will not wear a suit.
I don't want to look flashy, just neatly dressed. What say you?

Just wear some khakis and a white button down dress shirt with no tie.

Whatever you wear...just make sure your cock is partially out.

Depends. Can you just ask? I've interviewed with two different companies that both had a relaxed dress code. One preferred suits for interviews, the other preferred business casual.

I would just get a one-color button down shirt (whatever you think looks best) and a simple tie (again, whatever you think looks best on you and with the shirt). For me, that usually consists of a plain white button down shirt and a blue tie.

Just wear a speedo and those red socks on the TV commercial, you will get the job.

maybe it's just me, but after wearing a tie every day for a month, it's not really a big deal. I fail to see the issue with wearing a suit. or a pair of slacks, a nice shirt, tie and blazer. or slacks nice shirt and blazer. or slacks, nice shirt and tie. or slacks and nice shirt. or slacks and polo. that's really the lowest i'd go.

but yeah, while they might be different on the sliding scale of dressiness, none of them will get looked at differently. >.>

I ride a motorcycle most days, my coat might get wrinkled.

I don't moisturize, but when I needed a quick shirt and tie for a wedding, I went with this shirt and a tie similar to this one.

No one said I was under-dressed, but then again one guy came in sandals, so it's a relative scale.

Reconsider your choice to wear black pants. Gray or navy are more versatile when it comes to shoes and shirts.

Grey is more lively if you ask me. I always wear shirt and tie for work. I would look for a shirt with some type of checkered pattern and some type of solid tie with little to no pattern. I know my white shirt with purple waffle patter and black tie with diagonal purple stripes makes me get looks from the women folk. Its either because I don't know how to dress or they are impressed that a chubby nerd knows how to dress.

That would be crass.

As you begin the interview process, silently set a tube of KY and Fleshlight on the table next to your note pad.

even in a relaxed environment always wear a suit for a job interview. At the previous firm I worked for it had a similar dress type. You still got into a suit for the interview process. You are putting your best foot forward.

Also avoid black slacks. Black suit is one thing but black slacks alone is the wrong move. Grey is the best way to go. Maybe blue but grey non pleated pants would be my first choice if you won't wear a suit.
Go with a white or blue shirt. If white shirt make sure it is an amazingly nice white shirt from BR or Calvin Klein.

Just throw your ball gag on the table and ask who's 1st. They will cower under your stance of dominance and you'll be hired on the spot.

Assuming the proper stance of dominance over your interviewer is more important than what you wear.
