Guys please give me your opinions !!!

Ok I am currently running Win2k and love it, only problem is that I want to do some video editing with my PCTV pci and none of the video editing software that came with it works with win2k so I have decided to dual boot. Now out of win95B, win98FE and Win98SE (im not even considering WinME) is the fastest for video editing? Some people have told me that win95B has the fastest DMA and memory transfers, and some people have told me Win98FE is much faster than Win98SE. So whats the scoop?

i dunno about speed but i say win98 SE, stable.

i dont know about speed, but i honestly think, if it was fast enough in 95 then it will probably just as fast in 98se, check the software, ask other ppl who use the software and see what OS they are running, but IMHO i would go with 98se.

Go with Win98SE. You don't need as many patches as Win95, and many of the possible problems with Win95 are usually gone in Win98SE.

Christ, don't use 95 for a damn thing (including OSR2)

any version of 98 will do fine
