Do not, I repeat, do not buy that car. I'm now driving my co-worker to work for a couple weeks because she bought a '93 a year ago. It was owned by a little old lady and only had 43k miles on it. She replaced the transmission two months ago. Had the power steering pump replaced last month. The transmission she had put in is on it's way out already, she only gets 1st and 2nd gears now. Late 80's and most of the 90's Chryslers are about the worst there is for reliability.

LOL, I don't want to buy the car, I'm trying to get a price for my step father. It was his fathers car, but he died a week ago and he's trying to find out how much the car is worth. (resale value)

I'm thinking about 5000$ CND

I agree with bunker. I owned a similar Dodge which I thought was a bargain at an auction. 3 months later all sorts of problems started developing, the paint job was even going, etc. A huge chunk of junk. If you're a gambling man then go ahead and buy it. If you want something reliable that won't fall apart get a used Honda Civic, Accord, or Toyota Corolla with proper care they'll easily do over 200,000 miles.

Unless of course you're selling this car, then let's hope you find a sucker.

Yep he plans on selling it.

I've got a 96 Civic, he's got a 2002 Corolla and moms got a 2001 Civic.
