Hi, I got a MSI-6119 rev. 1.1 mb with the BX chipset. ?? - I can
not get into the BIOS. The screen reads bus speed 66 mhz but is
frozen. I'm running a Celeron 366 at stock speed. I can see the
BIOS date and the DEL message to get into the BIOS but the machine
just hangs there... Any ideas?? The cursor blinks and I did get
the bus speed to read 100 mhz by fooling around with the jumpers
on the ABIT slocket. But I can't get into the BIOS. I even tried
different memory and different memory slots to no avail. What
do you folks think?? TIA!

Double check slocket settings.

Increase CPU vcore voltage.Socket introduces longer leads
so higher voltage may be needed even at default fsb.

Try another slocket.

EDIT
I could come up with more but my brain is boiling over.

Thanks for the reply but I already tried another slocket and the new
one had the same problem. I also tried another keyboard and that did
not work. Any other ideas??

if you can find another of the same board, pop the bios rom off and stick in in your machine and see what it does.... sounds like a bad rom or your board is dead...
