I was too busy celebrating me getting my drivers license that day. And then I celebrated getting a job a few hours later.

Then, I celebrated the fact that those buildings coming down got me a paid vacation day on September 12th.

September 11 is a day of joy for me.

Dude...I got my drivers license. That is one of the most happiest moments of a young man's life. I couldn't care less about some people I didn't know that day.

I've never seen any posts to that effect, links please?. I didn't know the death toll in Iraq or Afghanistan was in the millions, but Al-Qaeda has no respect for any life, even fellow Muslims if it stands in the way of their agenda. I agree the treatment of the Palestine situation was/is horrible and that mistreatment is the fuel behind much of the anti American sentiment in the Arab world but that aside, if you lived in Iraq and 3000 civilians were killed in one day would you call it a "day of celebration" cause you got a paid day off??.

Let me explain to you the difference between pretend and real life. In real life 3000+ people really died on 9/11. When people say nuke it from space that is an humorous exaggeration. No one really died. Most people get this by the age of 4.

you're wrong. there's a difference between people celebrating the death of enemies we're fighting against during war versus thousands of innocent civilians being killed in the morning of any given day without provocation. i'm not big on celebrating death... i didn't even celebrate the death of bin laden. it makes me feel no better than the hate mongers who celebrated our deaths on 9/11. i just thought, "ok, they got him. cool. i wonder what's on adult swim..." that's not because i didn't know bin laden, it's because i didn't care for bin laden because he was a piece of shit who brought it on himself.

people celebrating the death of iraqis fighting against us means that there are more of our men and women that stay alive and can come home once this is all over. yeah, there's probably some unresolved anger behind it. i'm not one of those who celebrates and i'm not saying it's ok to, but i can understand it.

celebrating in light of the thousands of innocent lives that were crumbled and destroyed with the buildings is disgusting and inexcusable. there's no understanding that.
