Well, my hard drive started making ticking noises and restarting/not responding, and all the sudden it went out. every time i tried to reboot it gave me a bsod. its happened before and ive had to RMA it. the BSOD says unmountable boot drive.
my brother in law suggested i go buy another HDD (need one because i start at school in a couple days) and see if i can get the stuff i need off the old one. i had about 10-15 gigs of pictures that i really need, because those i can never get back (im an idiot for not backing up, i know). however, my pictures folder was located in my folder on my admin account, and i had it to not sharing, so whenever i try to access that folder on the old HDD i get:
F:\documents and settings\heen is not accessible.
access is denied.
is there ANY way i can get this stuff back?
thanks so much
