I will start three weeks ago ,if you remember I had booting problems,then BSOD,lockups,Windows protection error ,them could not boot even into safe mode,it stop at DMI pool data on startup had the single beep for ok on post,anyway Crucial tested my memory which was 100% fine,they were pretty helpful even though they could not help me solve the problem.
I finally gave up & phoned Simply computers being most of my parts were still new & brought from there,they said bring it in, so I did,this is the repair report below
"On inspection system did have problems booting,the data on the HDD was corrupt,therefore blocking entry into windows.Later it was discovered the CPU(only 8 weeks old)was faulty in that it prevented the reinstallation of Windows & the Motherboard was replaced as a precaution.Windows therefore reinstalled ok,I was unable to save data on HDD.The system is ok now,DVD playback is fine."
So I have a new replaced CPU & BOARD (MSI K7T PRO & 900mhz T-bird) this is the best bit NO CHARGE AT ALL ON COST & LABOUR ,Simply Computers support is brilliant here in UK.
