amazon pushed my order back by 2 months, and when i called, there's nothing they can do since the product is backordered.

I initially wanted the Black Panasonic FX7 Text, I thought it would be perfect for me,,, 5.0 megapixels, point and shoot, image stablizer, sharp looking, good reviews, etc.
However I have to cancel my order and purchase a different camera because I need a digital camera before Dec. 18th.

I'm willing to spend up to $500 max for a digital camera, something that will last me a long time.
I *think* I want a ultra compact camera like the panasonic FX7.. I don't think I want to carry a big bulky camera around.

I want to order tonight so it gets shipped soon... so feel free to offer any suggestions/recommendations/etc

 
DON'T ACTUALLY SEARCH FOR THE MILLION OTHER FVCKING DIGITAL CAMERA THREADS WE HAVE HERE, I WOULDN'T WANT YOU TO STRAIN YOURSELF.
