Guys: How long after shaving do you get your 5 o'clock shadow?

I noticed that if I shave in the morning, I don't a 5 o'clock shadow till about the EVENING of the day after I shave....just wondering if anyone else notices anything similar...it is thick when it comes in, it just takes forever

Whoops, meant to click "several hours later" before hitting submit, but apparently the click didn't go through.

Anyway, it generally happens sometime after 6 hours but before 12 for me.

Edit: And I shave both with and against the grain, for anyone interested.

Well, I have a spot on my chin that shadows about four hours after I shave. The rest fills about an hour after that.

week to week and a half.

I have a friend who ahs a 5o clock at about 9am if he shaves at 530am.
