Hello guys.
I just called CanadaPost and they said my system will be delivered tomorrow.
With the time it takes to actually build the system, plus Windows installation and stuff like that, I am looking at few hours spent.
So what I need to do is "prepare" by already having some stuff downloaded.

I would appreciate if you guys pointed to the right direction where I can download the following drivers:

Chipset (is this same as "motherboard" drivers?)
Video Card
Network
Sound
USB

Yes yes yes, I know my motherbord and video card will have a CD with all that, but i need to download the latest ones.

My system:
Gigabyte DS3 Motherboard
eVGA 7900GS KO
E6400 C2D @2.13GHz

1) According to my hardware, can you guys link me to correct drivers so that I dont waste my time finding them. I am pretty anxious to try my system tomorrow ASAP.
I tried looking on my own, but i have problems finding the right ones. For example, when i went to nvidia.com to download 7900gs drivers, there wasnt an option for it. There was just: 88-series and some other.

2)If my video card is eVGA Nvidia 7900GS KO, do I need to download drivers from nvidia.com or evga.com ..or are they the same thing?

Don't have time to give you links, but perhaps I can help with a question or two.

1.) if you are using the integrated network and sound, then you should be able to get the chipset, sound, and network drivers from Gigabyte's website. The chipset drivers are part of the driver suite for the motherboard.

2.) evga and nvidia both will have drivers, generally, it's best to go with the nvidia drivers, as the evga drivers are essentially just older versions of the nvidia drivers with a few graphics changed in the menus.

CHIPSET-INTEL .COM
VIDEO CARD- NVIDIA.COM
SOUNDCARD- drivers should be on disk or you can get them @ gigabyte.com.tw
Gigabyte.com.tw for bios updates if needed

hope this helps!

I would probably go with the non-beta drivers for the time being. If you read the description, you'll notice that the beta drivers are for Vista.

Chipset - download 8.1.0.1006
LAN - download 8.59.5.3
Audio - Download 5.10.0.5010, then 5.12.0.5286
