The real question is, have you heard the Jay-Z diss back at Nas? It's supposed to be on his upcoming album "The Blueprint".

It's called Takeover. Listen to the last verse. He really lights into Nasir.

Those Nas disses suck, the only good line he had was on Stillmatic where he talked about the rest of Roc a Fella. Nas is calling Jigga "Gay-Z" in interviews and stuff, real mature - is that the best Nas can do?

Most mainstream, MTV/BET style rappers are ghetto trash, no matter how much money they make. They have petty rivalries, and all the millions can't keep them from their ghetto crime tendencies. The only rappers I can respect more than dog sh!t are the ones who don't try to maintain a "badass" attitude or get in serious trouble with the law. Mos Def, Outkast, Deltron3030, Blackalicious and a few other rappers are pretty good. Snoop, Dre, Jay-Z, etc, are just dirty n-words (gonna use Chris Rock's terminology: there's a HUGE difference between a black person and a great person, just like there's a difference between a white person and white trash, etc, etc)

The reason why they are beefing is because its simply like this. After Biggie died(king of new york, deny it or not), there was 2 Big new york Rappers behind him. Jay Z and Nas. With being said, Which one of those rappers were going to be the next King of new york? Thats the beef and its always going to be that way. Its been going on since Big died and it will never cease untill the next king dies.(jay) Sad to say but thats the way it is. IMHO. On a side note i do rap myself if anyone is interested in talking serious can hit my email.

I was glad to hear it. Peeps have slept on NAS for far too long. He had touches of his old original style which was kick ass. I like Jay-z but he'd needed a reality slap.
