Anyone wear cologne? I got some for Christmas, some uhh Armani Acqua Di Gio.

And how do you put it on? Douse? Spray? Sprinkle?! I just do the spray me wrist, rub the other one, then wrists to neck.

EDIT: 12/27

Yeah, she said how nice it smelled like 3 times, close, close proximity... But yeah, I would say that I had a decent amount of fun tonight ;), one thing I DO NOT like the smell of though..... I swear it's like the hardest smell to get off your hands too.

I used to wear Acqua di Gio each day, but for the past several months I really haven't been putting it on daily.

I don't wear cologne every day... just when going out on a date or a nice dinner with friends/family.

can't say I've ever smelled the cologne mentioned by the OP, though. my spring/summer cologne is Eternity and my fall/winter cologne is Dirty English.

CK Contradiction daily. Now and then I change it up but I always go back to Contradiction. Good stuff.

I do the spray and walk through. I don't like directly applying because it just seems to be too strong. Acqua Di Gio is good stuff.

Yes, this is the other one I do, but then I feel like I don't have any scent on me >_>

You should do a single spray on one of your wrists, then press both wrists together. Then press your wrists to the pulse points on your neck. Don't rub it in, just press. If the cologne isn't strong, one more spritz onto your shirt is appropriate. No more.

You could always do the "hotspot" application, but I don't really care for it because I don't like to have my cologne be overwhelming. I like a very light application, noticeable in close proximity, but not when I walk over.

I usually rub D:. Why just press?

And yeah I'll just stick with this method :p

Nope.
I prefer something more along the lines of scent neutral, though such a thing is impossible, short of sustaining 2nd degree burns all over my body to destroy the sweat glands. (2nd would do it, right?)

I usually wear Fleur du Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. Recently I tried Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue and the girlfriend picked it up for me for Christmas - I'll now start alternating between the two.

Cologne is another one of those little details that make a man stand out.

Why do you want to smell like a woman?

Throw it out right now, save us the trouble.

I've been using acqua di gio for a while, just spray once at the neck from about a foot away. its a subtle fragrance that shouldn't wipe out an entire office of cubicles like some fragrances have a tendency of doing.

I usually wear it every day, sometimes I mix it up with Banana Republic Black Walnut (dab a couple drops on side of neck).

Perfume = Woman
Cologne = Man

The guy wearing cologne hooking up with teh ladies isn't a woman is he? While you sit there, alone, in the corner, smelling like poop. Bitch.

Some people say it's bullshit, but rubbing can supposedly "bruise" the scent or otherwise detract from it. Lightly pressing doesn't do this. In my own experience, I've either noticed no difference or only a slight change, and never anything terrible, but I figure it can't hurt to follow the recommendation.

surprised to see so many votes on not using cologne.

Every time I step out the door, ill put some on. except for throwing out the trash and getting the mail. I once worked at a place where I was the only male to wear cologne. On more than one occasion I had some of my female coworkers tell me, that I smelled good and jokingly told me to get the other guys to put some on.

What im trying to say, if you voted no and your looking to stick your dick in a vag, wearing can cologne help, ya stank fucks :)
