Chainsaw would certainly cut through the weedwhacker or damage it enough that it would be fairly useless. Even if weedwhacker guy got in a quick early attack he would get pwned by one swoop of the chainsaw.

Unless chainsaw guy just stands there and lets weedwhacker guy get him in the eyes chainsaw guy has the advantage.

LMAO...

It wouldn't even be close. A weedwacker is a terrible weapon.

A chainsaw, on the other hand, is a very effective one.. lol

as noted, chainsaw could be flung...

also, a weedwhacker wouldn't cut your arm off, just severe lacerations. one touch of the chainsaw and your limb is useless.

You don't say what kind of cutting edge the weedwhacker has.
If it used the standard string, the weedwhacker wouldn't have a chance.

But he could pull a couple more feet of cutting wire out to give him the reach advantage.

Well, if were talking stock, the weedwhackers have a razor on the guard to cut the string.

The problem the OP didn't specify the models used. Here's a nice chainsaw will a bit of reach.

you're an idiot

Says the dude who asked the question, lol.

Depends on if the chainsaw man is wearing gloves. If he is, he can just grab the shaft and wield the saw with one hand.
