Just ignore him.

That's what I plan on doing... unless you guys have a better suggestion... like something other than being complete jerks to me.

There are alot of ebay seller on here and they will always support other sellers.

haha, some people just shouldn't use ebay. The op included.

Agreed; the OP is a picture perfect example of a non-paying bidder. I hate those tools.

Best case scenario: eBay bans him and the seller takes him to small claims.

took me all of 10 seconds to find this:

Relist Your Vehicle

You can always Relist your vehicle by clicking the Relist Item button on the bottom-left corner of your item page. You will be credited the Insertion Fee if your vehicle sells.

Normally, Insertion Fees are non-refundable. However, if your listing ends without a winning buyer or results in an unpaid item (UPI), you may qualify for a credit by relisting the item. If the item sells the second time, eBay will refund the Insertion Fee for the relisting. Learn more about relisting your vehicle.

And FYI, refunding the Insertion Fee does not include any listing upgrades. You are SOL if you decide to pay extra for featured gallery or any other expensive upgrades, because eBay will not refund those costs.

Am I missing something here, I know (from regular auctions on Ebay) that if the deal was made, but the transaction didn't go through (like one side pulled out or whatever) as long as both parties agree the deal is not going through then Ebay would relist for free, now does this apply to Ebay motors?

And ethically, the OP owes the guy $200.

I'd say he owes more. Time could be held as a factor too if the seller really wanted that money.

Sue for $200? Either he's rich and wants to be an @$$ or he's very stupid.

I "offered" $10k for a showcar in Atlanta thinking my parents would pay... they didn't and now he's sending me rude ebay messages. Am I liable?

 get a job

I already submitted my resume to over 10 places... not like I'm not trying. Try again?

McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, KFC, Pizza hut, arbys, ... which ones am I missing?

perhaps the one stuck up your asshole?

You applied to be stuck up his butt????

Wrong as always. The damages are $200, the cost to re-list the item.

Heres his ebay account
http://myworld.ebay.com/webhostcentraldotnet/

Its a wonder what a little google searchign will pick up, found out prom his profile he was in corte madrid california, also saw he was going to be selling gskill ram on ebay, but not link to the sale. So i obtained his zip from usps and did a location search on ebay.

Lets hope the seller leaves negative feedback so we can see exactly what happened. and flame freely.

If you weren't a jerk in the first place, maybe we wouldn't be a jerk to you. :light:
