I bet he was hoping to get the chick posing with the car too. When he found out he'd have to find some other avenue to deflower him, he bailed.

Probably, but neither is bumping this thread. Touche.
And legally I am not bound to pay his relist fees unless he takes me to court. Until then I guess I will sit back and laugh at this thread.
He should have factored re-list fees into his accounting when he decided to list a "show car" that will realistically probably never sell for $12k.

and of course the OP, as expected, vehemently denies any wrongdoing and claims everyone else is wrong except him. Ahh, if only I could be 15 again and know everything.
I don't not claim anything... ahh if I could be your age so I could justify being an ass on the internet.
Isn't bidding on an item you don't have the money to buy being an ass on the internet?

Tell me this - why should anyone here trade or buy from you again?

What a fvcktard the OP is. Its one thing to come here and post the truth about how you are an idiot, but then to try and justify it? You fvcked up, fine. But dont try and make it like it isnt your fault and the seller "should have known the car isnt worth that."
If it isnt worth that why the fvck did you OFFER THAT MUCH?
Grow up and admit that you fvcked up and pay the seller the money he lost when you "bought" the vehicle.
ASS

You are just a big of "fvcktard" as I am. Thank you for bypassing the swear filter that the owner of ATOT obviously had installed for a reason. I hope you are banned along with anyone who continues to insult me on this thread. I will have you all reported if I have to.

I plan on paying him $100 if he responds to my email. Unfortunately he has not replied or been very nice to me since.
100% on heatware and 100% on sold items on ebay in terms of feedback. If you don't want to buy from me that is your prerogative. That being said, I wanted to see if I was legally bound $200 because I offered him a good price for his "show car." Have a nice day.

Blazin Trav, please allow me to explain something to you. When you bid on an auction, or agree to anything in life, for that manner...you give a man your word. By making that bid, you made a promise. You broke it. If I were that seller, I'd be pissed too.
The lesson, and hopefully it will sink into your head, is that you do not go around spending money you don't have. Is it really his fault YOUR parents decided not to invest in your auction bid? I don't see how it could be the seller's fault. Plain and simple...you fvcked up. Maybe you have put your family in this position before, and finally they decided to quit letting you be a spoiled brat, and deal with life on your wallet, not theirs.
So go around here attacking your detractors, who do not agree with your view, but maybe they are mature enough, much more than you, to see the reality of this situation at full value. You, OTOH, seem quite immature, and not willing to accept any accountability for what you created. If you do not knock yourself out of that mode and grow up, you will have a hard life.

You were legally bound because you bid on the car and entered into a contract.. It wasnt an "offer" anymore once he accepted it. It was an agreement for you to purchase the car at the price you saw fit and entered.
Idiot.

um, if you know more lawyers, then why didn't you ask them instead of posting your question on this forum? i mean think about it - you know lawyers, yet you posted on a forum where anyone that doesn't know the law could answer your question.Originally posted by: Blazin Trav
Keep trying to "own" me. I'm having a great laugh. I am not entitled to have to pay him anything. eBay isn't liable either and I know more lawyers than the seller of this car knows, all of them very good at what they do, so I wish him luck.

So, mullet, shall I take that as a direct ad hominem threat? You're in over your head, kid. Trust me.
